Waiting rooms don't have to feel like waiting rooms
Queue Flow is a custom web application built to replace the paper token and shouted-name-across-the-room approach to managing walk-in traffic. Built on Node.js, Express, and Vue, it handles the entire flow from the moment someone walks in to the moment they're served — in real time, with no manual tracking.
It's built industry-agnostic by design. The same system that manages patient flow in a clinic works just as well for a bank branch, a government service counter, a retail service desk, or a university admissions office — the queue logic stays the same, only the branding and service categories change.
What it comes with
Queue Flow isn't just a ticket number generator — it's a full system covering every touchpoint in the queuing experience:
- Kiosk Screen — a self-service touchscreen where visitors generate their token and select the service they need, no staff assistance required
- Live Display Screen — a TV-ready screen calling out the next token number and counter, keeping the waiting area informed without a single announcement
- Counter / Agent Interface — a simple interface for staff to call, serve, or skip the next visitor in line
- Admin Dashboard — real-time visibility into queue length, average wait time, and staff performance across counters
- Multi-Service & Multi-Counter Support — route different services to different counters automatically, so one queue doesn't bottleneck the whole floor
Built to fit, not to be forced
Because it's built as a custom software solution rather than an off-the-shelf ticketing app, Queue Flow adapts to how a business actually operates — its service categories, counter structure, and even the kiosk's branding are configured around the client, not the other way around.
